Savannah region based film director’s film gets nominated as one of the 7 films to represent Ghana in this years Africa international Film Festival slated for November in Nigeria Lagos. The film titled the first Christian is a concept from OBL studios and produced by ABED Arts N.G.O based in Winneba Ghana. The film chronicles the life of a Christian evangelist in an African community who tries to convert the people to his Faith but is met with stiff resistance from the community. The film was shot in the central region of Ghana. Born into a family with a long lenage of artistic background, the director picked up film making as a Hobie at an early age and began making films with his Dad’s camera phone in Canteen, a surberb of the Savannah regional capital.
With about 13 years of experience in the art of film making now, the director has won several local and international awards even without a film certificate from any academic institution at the moment.
He is such an inspiration to the youth of Savannah region and the whole of Kgbanya is proud of him.
